Here’s how the radios work
It sounds so complicated to have bricks on your back or under your waistband with wires of speakers and microphones shoved in your sleeves and over your shoulders and mini radios connected to bigger ones laying in a bag.Having to “switch to 700mh channel punch in code XXXXXXX scroll down to….” You get the picture. For analog channels and having codes that call different peoples radios so you can either chat or basically listen in especially if there is a amplifier mic that acts as a hearing aid pretty much where you can hear a mouse fart across the room.
That or ask someone to 11-99 call you or 11-98 meet…. Or dial “COMMAND DESK” at 999….. code 888 and 777 for command desk if someone else is dialed in. As well as other three digit codes that went to either different people or operations.
