My lesson as a woman from reading Hamlet: DO NOT BE OPHELIA.In simple language: A woman should have her own mind and be able to do things that she wants. She should not be dictated by men. Do not pine for love that does not work out and definitely do not commit suicide because of love. Women should be independent and self-sufficient. They should stand on their feet and be able to think for themselves.
If I see a sister acting like an Ophelia, I am going to bark at her.
That Ophelia was one loser.
