I wish down syndrome, low IQ, stupid stupid fuck retards would stop clammouring for this shit. Aside from the 2011 season of Beavis and Butthead, EVERY OTHER REBOOT HAS BEEN PIG SHIT. You can't name one to me that hasn't been.
Half the writers/actors/crew are retired or dead for almost any show, so there's never any way of "recreating the magic" of something from 30 years ago. And usually these shows that get reboots began to suck midway through their original run, so even in the so-called glory days it stopped being enjoyable. How in the hell could half the crew come back and somehow make a good show? They can't and they never do.
The cast who does sign on look noticeably different. Whether they aged well or not, a few decades will be noticeable on anyone. The actors who really look like shit, get fake social media comments by people who get off on knowing that they look better than a former "hot celebrity" and say shit like "gurl you haven't aged a day. still look like you did in 1994."
The set is very cheaply recreated. The lighting is insane and the whole thing looks like a funeral parlor. If it's an animated show, they for whatever reason go with really cheap flash animation that is intentionally choppy looking. Either way it looks like shit.
A token interracial character is added to the cast. If you comment on this person having no personality and being there for diversity sake, then you get called a bigot, which is what the companies want. If you don't like the show or call out something that's clear pandering, then the problem is you, you racist fuck.
Then for good measure, there has to be some modern shit thrown in. Timeless topical things such as cyrpto currency, the Trump Administration, or LGBT things. And they have to be really in your face with characters having modern technology now. OMG DAY HON UH SMARTFONE!!!!!!
These shit shows are never well received. Retards will go and rate every episode a 10, the majority of people never watch, or rightfully see it for the shit that it is. And usually these shows don't get much more than a second season, if they even go as far as to get that.
I'm tired of seeing shows I used to like getting this treatment, or seeing retards calling out for it.

Unfortunately, this decay and loss of originality was scientifically enevitable, and pushing out shows like McDonalds burgers only accelerated this process. But we are kind of stuck now, because the pool of viable ideas has always been limited, and no one wants to watch a nonsense show about how a Zizzyazmx had trouble with a bzwzwz and needs a gwuzek to resolve it.
They need to slow down, and not burn up the ideas so fast. Or else we get crapoy "reboot" (not a computer) after "reboot" (not a computer).
But i guess it's theor ship, and they will sail it however they want. ,:-/ anonymous 5 hours ago

I like how there have now been like 3 Twilight Zone reboots. All in color, all with gaudy "modern" style visuals and editing, and all with black guy hosts for "diversity sake." Like, don't remake any old show. And if you do, how about a white Good Times? Fair is fair.... anonymous 5 hours ago
^I considered those to be more like continuations than reboots, authough there have been remakes of episodes from prior series.
But I am getting tired of that term "reboot". Unless these shows are showing start up bios and diagnostic screens, a "reboot" it is not.
Before the "dot-com" era of the late 1999s/beginning of the 2000s, I never once heard the term "reboot" being applied to a remake of a show. anonymous 2 hours ago
