Fuck, America really is no longer a democracy
What saddens me is all of the Democrats who "cut and run" rather than facing down Trump. A few are still hanging on to fight for their districts, to attempt to protect their districts from Trump as best as they can, but most just ran. Too bad it took this to find out who the real allies, the real brave people are, but how the fuck does that do us any good now?You are right; Trump can kill a person on a street in a major city in cold blood, and nothing would happen to him. And there are plenty of excusers who will put full blame on his victims so his political career wouldn't be harmed either.
A few days ago, I finally came to the shocking realization that this country can no longer be considered a democracy. Yes, I've been bantering about it for a while, I've heard others mention this, but the full impact, the full reality of the situation didn't click with me until now. I think they call this a delayed trauma response.
America is no longer a democracy, period, de facto.

How about asking why the repubs aren't doing anything? They have the majority and they serve everyone in their districts too
The dems are doing all they can at this moment in time. Sit ins on the steps on weekends, promoting peaceful protests, 25+ hour filibusters, having town halls in repub districts because repubs are too cowardly to face the people, and touring all over to inform the people what these chicken shit repubs are NOT DOING
The repubs are the ones NOT DOING anything because they are afraid. That's who you should be mad at!
Get out, write letters, emails, make phone calls and stop allowing the cowards to lay down for this shit.
And most importantly, VOTE, it's up to us to VOTE for the correct people. You may not agree with everything a party is about but just be sure you don't pick the most evil of them all that has ever existed.
