They do. And all of this fucking garbage like Friends where the people were 35, playing young people, acting like it's all nothing but sex, going out for food/drinks, and hilarious hijinks (SHE GOTTA TURKEY ON HER HED!!!) Fantasy shit like this only makes people feel insecure about their lives, like they aren't doing enough, and they try to live up to this sort of propaganda that isn't like anyone's lives.

So no one told you life was gonna be this way? Here's what your 20s are actually like.

You spend years trying to establish a reputation and job history, maybe finish school too. You eventually learn employers don't even look at work experience that's unrelated to whatever your applying for.

You probably aren't around many people your age, and you feel really alone and insecure about that. You're now too old to be around teenagers, and people over 30 probably see you as a kid who they're too young to hang around. Then if you do end up at a crappy little group/event that has people your age, it's either cliques who ignore everyone else, or VERY socially inept people who are behaving like children.

As far as fuckin goes. Lemme just say it's not like TV where you have this endless ensemble of beautiful celebrities who you get to fuck on the first date. Reality is, despite most garbage in the media that suggests otherwise, a good deal haven't even done anything by this point. It's not the end of the world either.

Basically, you work your ass off to get things together in your life during this decade. Hopefully you're able to work through whatever bullshit that has held you back. And hopefully, if whatever career path you went down isn't working, you get the fuck away, because you've still got time and it's not the end of the world.

In astrology there's something called "the return of saturn" basically, at age 29ish you start to feel like you've outgrown certain things, and you're kind of supposed to get back on track with who you really are. So, if done right, what'll likely be the worst decade of your life, should end with positive changes.
