Wolf in Sheep Clothing

Let's get the record straight, Amala Ekpunobi is not half-Black, she is half-Caucasian. There is a difference. You cannot claim something that you weren't raised in. She was raised by her Caucasian mother who filled her head with political nonsense and told raised her to have a victim mentality. Caucasian culture is what she really knows. Besides African American arts and Black pop culture, she could never say what she learned from the elders of the Black community.

And what's even sadder, her father is a Black man, but he wasn't a Diasporian native. Her father is straight from the Motherland, knowing his heritage and culture. He's not just a Black man and not just a Nigerian: He is Igbo. Igbo people existed way way before Nigeria existed. This Amala has an advantage that a lot of Black Americans wished they have, whether they want to admit it or not, knowing who she is as a people.

But she doesn't take the step to learn her culture. Instead she rather continue with the victim mentality her mother sold her to and paint Black people as a whole as the villains, and please explain to me why she thinks she can speak for us and to us as if she knows us.

I don't look at skin color cuz skin color doesn't make a race. I look at the mindset and mentality. Culture is a mindset, it's what gives behaviors context. A Japanese mentality is not the same as an English mentality. A Continental African mentality is not the same as an African Diasporic (Black Americans, West Indians, Afro Latinos) mentality. Amala knows what it is to be a Caucasian but not as an African regardless Continental nor Diasporic. It's telling and it's telling strong.

You are, by law, the race of the father.
You boys want everything YOUR WAY at the moment. It doesn't work like that, we are a nation of laws.
