US UK Joke Sanctions

So the UK is now following the US, as they usually do, in putting UK travel and financial sanctions on the 4 Occupied West Bank Israelis for violent attacks against Palestinians for which they received no punishment from the Israeli court. Don't know if these people even have financial dealings in the US, but do know they will have no trouble working around the sanctions if they do.

From the 70's to the 90's, we ran a business next door a Jewish owned home goods type store in NYC that sold furniture and electronics. For the whole 20 years the store was having a "going out of business" sale sign up. So one day we were in the store shopping and started chatting with the owner about how long we had for a return since they were closing. He laughed and said no they are not going out of business, that it was a way to save money on taxes by going out of business under one family member and then opening right back up under another who then proceeds to go out of business, and so on and so on. The store was still there when we left.
