I love you, even if I don't know you. You deserve better. You deserve what makes you happy. There's always someone that loves and cares about you, even if you don't think so. There's always light at the end of the tunnel, and I need to promise you this: things will ALWAYS get better. I feel you too, but please stay.
If you're facing abuse/violence, please attempt to run (if you can). Far- any place you know that will protect you. Bring as much water and food, bring light and heavy jackets, and maybe go to a police station or so. I know, easier said than done. This is the light though, and you will make it through.
Here's some info that might be helpful:

Anyone feeling isolated, depressed, or suicidal can reach out anytime to Samaratins for support. It's confidential and free to use. 1-877-870-4673
Call the Crisis Call Center or text CARE to 839863 for 24/7/365 crisis support. The purpose of the Crisis Call Center is to provide a safe source of support for individuals in any type of crisis. (800) 273-8255
If you text BRAVE to the Crisis Text Line at 741741, a trained crisis counselor will receive it and respond within minutes. Then, the crisis counselor will help you de-escalate your situation and connect you to help locally.
Please please stay safe, everybody. We live in a sad world. Just remember, there's always a way.
From the bottom of my heart,
QY

I'm so glad there are people like you in the world. You make it better just by being who you are, and by thinking of others this way. anonymous 4 years ago
Ah, yes, nothing like a little reminder of just how dystopian our world really is without saying that our world is dystopian.
Seriously, i don't understand how after all these years, people still write these oversaturated, redundant, soulless messages over and over and over again, thinking that they are genuinely helping others when all they're doing is virtue signaling and creating an echo chamber for toxic positive zealots like themselves and the commenter above me while mental health continues to worsen and crime and suicide rates continue to rise. I would think that at some point these people would do a little self-reflection (especially since self-reflection is something they like to preach a lot during their their shitty mental health "awareness" campaigns.) But no, they are just as ignorant as ever. They never seem to bother asking why people commit suicide in the first place, coming up with flimsy excuses instead such as "being mentally ill" or having a "temporary roadbloack in life" rather than acknowledging how abuse, poverty, crime, and other haazrds, some of which are not in fact tenporary problems, are contributing to poor mental health.
I love how you just come up with such grand assumptions like "i love you even though i don't know you" or "you are loved and cared for, even if you don't know it." You're just simply wrong. This is not up for debate. You can't love people you don't know and this may shock you but not everyone is loved or cared for. What about children of abused parents or people who lost their loved ones to disasters? Who's there to love them? The fact that people like you not only unironically believe this crap, but treat it like it's some sort of universal law is mind-blowing. You act like it HAS to be true and that's final. It is incomprehensible to you people that your statements could be wrong. And last i checked, this is what a delusion is-a belief that is held firmly in spite of contrary evidence. And yet, depressed people are the ones being called delusional. It shows that psychiatry values social norms, no matter how questionable, over facts, reason, and well-being, because if they had been consistent with what they deem as normal or abnormal, they would not be calling depressed people "mentally ill" or "irrational" without second thought simply because their view of life is negative, while giving screeds like yours a pass.
Also, suicide hotlines are garbage. They either recite the same platitudes as you are doing, try to preach political or religious beliefs, or get hostile. And don't get me started on the danger of the police being called, which can lead to brutality. Mental hospitals are prisons. They abuse people, force drugs into them with dangerous side effects, and then throw them on the streets. This is what society deems "mental health care." And then they wonder why suicide remains prevalent. But instead of thinking of other solutions, they try the same crap repeatedly. Stop promting hotlines.
How about instead of wasting your time writing these empty comments you do something productive like acknowledge the problems that our society faces, call out the abuse of the mental health industry, listen to survivors of their horrific practices without using your stupid platitudes for the millionth time, donate to charities that are trying to tackle these issues, and vote for politicians that are in favor of good change? anonymous 2 hours ago
