The Secondhand Market

Why is it that when you go to buy a second hand Nintendo game in the year of 2026 for the Switch One a console that has been out for a decade now, Physical copies somehow cost more then the digital counterparts of used games a lot of the time.

This is absolutely insane to me on every level, like seriously what are we doing.

I swear Nintendo could tell its users that the Switch 3 is gonna cost a $1000 the games are gonna be $100 and if you mod your switch in any way Hey Nintendo will hire assassins to take you out and people will still fucking buy it because they're Nintendo even if the console only has one game on the system, a remake of a Dreamcast game called Seaman, and doesn't let you play anything else.

That is how psychotic Nintendo fans currently are because you will have Nintendo fans try to bully their friends into buying the overpriced Switch to that has no games on it Despite the fact that they have better things to do with their money because "it's so good".

The Switch 2 is quite literally just An OLED switch for people that want to brag about being able to play the next generation of Nintendo games when it comes out in 3 to 5 years.

But I'm getting sidetracked from my original point.

Only a fan base this rabid would lead to the second hand market for these games being so unbelievably toxic.

Like you could have one of the worst modern day Mario sports games still sell for 25 bucks, despite the fact that the game has basically no content.

And God forbid you tried to buy a physical game used, that recently came out, like, how THE FUCK is that more expensive, that is insane.
