I keep telling but she doesn't understand

Idk if this is just my mom but this is genuinely starting to piss me off recently I've been trying to renovate my room? Clean my room idk whatever you wanna call it I've been really into the twee style and i keep telling my mom what i wanna do with my room but i feel like she just doesn't understand i feel like she just wants to cover my room in stuff SHE wants i have a photo of princess lea if thats how you spell her name from starwars that says "Don't call me princess" and everytime one of my friends sleeps over for the first time they mention it I don't even like starwars that much i only have it because my mom put it in my room when i was younger i also have these modern shelfs that i don't minds much but there just not me my rooms always felt more like hers and before anyone says "talk to her about it!" I HAVE or tried at least it takes her buying tons of stuff and me telling her the kinds of stuff i like then her getting upset then FINALLY somewhat understanding for her to even somewhat get it idk if its the way i talk about it or if she just doesn't understand but she does this for EVERYTHING my clothes my furniture my gifts I'm kinda sick of it
