I hate how political everyone makes everything and I hate having to hear about how every single person who doesn’t agree with the crowd is a nazi conservative facists racist blah blah blah blah blah. Sometimes I just wanna go out and get a coffee or something and that’s it. But every fucking time I’m out someone starts talking to me about political shit and it’s driving me crazy.
No, I’ve never voted republican, but holy fuck all this political talk is driving me insane. It’s like people don’t have a personality outside of talking about politics. Fuck. Get a new hobby or something.

Oddly enough, the people I heard IRL saying "i dOnT cArE aBoUt pOlItIcS" are the some of the ones who really need to pay attention to politics. :-/

To be fair, if anyone is walking up to random people in a coffee shop line and talking politics, I would side eye them, too. Some people don’t want to be bothered by strangers and that’s very fair. You can’t force people to talk about topics especially when you don’t know that person. OP is being fair.

Doesn’t matter if politics affects everything. Leave strangers alone. The random person in a coffee is probably just trying to go on with their day.

@anonymous 5, no one just randomly goes up to people in stores in the states and is like "DO YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, KAMALA HARRIS?!?" That shit doesn't fucking happen. This person is just mad their friends talk about topics other than whatever video game of the week is popular.
