Fuck you

In high school, a group of people in my history class told me they would go to the beach and showed me the condo where they would be staying on google maps. They also told me some of our mutual peers would be at the beach. I took this as an invitation, because how the hell would a location, being told to me they would be at the beach, AND the prospect of meeting mutual peers NOT be taken as an invitation?

So I ask my family to go to the beach. I message these "friends" and they just don't respond. My messages get left as "opened" on snapchat.

Fucking hell, this killed the mood. I unfriended them on social media a few years later. I'm in grad school now and have different friends but I still think about this from time to time. I hope they have learned and moved on but these fuckers no longer deserve a place in my life
