this is fascinating. i love dreaming lol your recall is very vivid, perhaps the clearing of the screen represents the clarity with which you might be seeing into something, maybe you’ve resolved a distorted view you had. idk though every dream symbol is personalized to the dreamers subconscious. i like to tell my dream to the meta ai on instagram and have it interpret it for me lol that’s the lazy way but yeah it’s fun to have vivid dreams, hope u have more u can share on here

The TV dream was weird for sure, as if the TV was actually getting damaged but everything in the dream was playing out in reverse. The text was blurry not because the text was physically blurry, but because in the dream I was viewing the set at a distance and usually my dreams can't produce more than one or two words before the rest is just a jumbled pile of nonsense (I think my "record" was a clear sentence and a half before the nonsense began). Upon reflection, the news anchors in this dream were saying something, but I couldn't make it out, and there didn't seem to be any urgency or real emotion in what they were saying. Basically, it was the dream version of a stock animated GIF of reporters milling about then sitting at a news desk with newsroom type sounds added to it.

But that said, the dream felt incredibly real. If there was any message to it, I have no way of knowing exactly what that message was supposed to be.

A couple days ago, I had a dream where I was riding in one of those subway station elevators. This one had metal doors with glass in it, and the car itself was mostly glass, but the shaft it was in was that nasty brownish concrete. I have a bit of a fear of elevators not because it would fall, but it would malfunction in some way and get stuck. I coming up to street level, and this stupid elevator had a lot of space at the top which was nothing but concrete walls and ceiling. To my horror, this dream elevator malfunctioned, and as the light of the daytime street slowly disappeared while the car continued to run last the top level, it stopped, leaving just a little slot of light to illuminate the darkened glass elevator and shaft. I looked up tward the shaft ceiling, and there was an old dirty ceramic toilet left bolted to the wall on a right hand wall perpendicular to the wall of the exit, sitting there near the ceiling of the shaft. The elevator car began it's slow descent back down the shaft and right then I woke up.

It was mundane and funny, but years ago I saw a picture of an elevator shaft inside a hotel that was created by removing the floors of the stacked bathrooms that used to belong to disused rooms in that part of the building, and they still left much of the old tiling and wallpaper intact. You could see where the fixtures and plumbing used to be connected to the wall, right by the elevator car guide rails. Maybe this old memory randomly came up and that's why I saw the toilet in that dream. (Of course none of the bathroom fixtures were left behind in that converted elevator shaft inside the hotel.)
