Trump's Qatar Security EO

Trump's pulled out his Big Black Sharpie to sign an EO guaranteeing Qatar security, stating that an attack on Qatar will be considered an attack on the US and all means to defend it including military will be used. This EO is in response to the unprovoked Israeli attack on Qatar some weeks ago by Israel on a peace negotiating meeting which was meant to kill the people with whom Israel was to be negotiating but instead only killed a Qatari citizen.

Regardless of the disingenuous call of apology to Qatar by Netanyahu for the attack a couple of days ago while in the US, which was a Trump ass kissing move by Netanyahu to make it seem like Trump is some genius at political diplomacy worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize, Qatar & its citizens had literally better not bet their lives on it. The US will do for Qatar what they usually do when US assets and citizens have been attacked by Israel -- absolutely nothing.

Nothing was done in 1967 when Israel attacked the USS Liberty in international waters for 2 hours killing 34 crew and injuring 171; the attack was so heavy the ship was considered beyond repair and was scraped. The US Navy Aircraft Carriers in the area did send fighter jets to help out the Liberty during the attack, and in what would be the pattern going forward when dealing with Israel, POTUS Johnson recalled the fighter jets before they reached the Liberty to neutralize the attackers. Since then, numerous US citizens have been killed in Israel. In 2003, in Rafah, Gaza, a US citizen Rachel Corrie who was protesting the Israeli demolition of Palestinian homes for Israeli settlements was deliberately runover and killed by the bulldozer demolishing her host family's home. No action was taken against Israel for the murder. The US also declined to conduct their own independent US investigation. Same inaction now in 2025 when US citizen Sayfoallah Musallet was beaten to death while protecting his family's home from occupying West Bank settlers when it was attacked while he was on a visit from FL.
