STOP OVERSHARING YOUR RELATIONSHIPS

This happened in high school when I had a crush on a girl. Her guy friend posts an anonymous QnA on his Snap story, where someone asked "is [my crush] single" and he says "yeah go hit her up". So I swipe up and ask how I can pursue a relationship, and he messages "did you ask that" without actually answering my question. I did not. And the convo ended right there. Then he posts on his story that he's now dating the girl. And the real kicker? Their" relationship" lasted no more than a month.
Fucking pisses me off. I don't get why this motherfucker would tell everyone that his girl WHO HE IS IN A TALKING STAGE WITH is single and encouraging people to pursue her. I mean yeah she was technically single by definition, BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN AVAILABLE FOR A RELATIONSHIP!!!! ESPECIALLY IF SHE IS IN A TALKING STAGE WITH YOU!!!!!
And okay, you have a relationship, cool. But it doesn't mean you're caring or thoughtful about it. No wonder it only lasted a few weeks.
This happened 5 years ago and still pisses me off. I blocked him on all social media. Some people just plain baffle me
