Pepsiman letdown

I was playing the old Playstation game featuring the ultra rad dude superhero Pepsi-man. The game was fun enough but I knew that if I could make him get off the self running path he was stuck on, I would be able to see parts of the world I could not normally see. Maybe there was a beach where I could join hot babes in bikinis in a game of volleyball, maybe I could see Pepsi-man's super secret lair which I know is full of cool gadgets. Hell, I knew Spuds McKenzie was chilling by the pool at a multimillion dollar mansion somewhere in the game.

As luck would have it, I found a codebreaker code that would allow me to roam the camera freely through the level! Oh boy! Beach babes, here we come!

Except when I tried to turn down the first cross street, it dead ended into sky. Ok.. let's try the next street.. no wait, ok the next..no. no no no NO! There was nothing much beyond what I could see while playing the game normally. Even backtracking in the opposite direction, revealed that the houses were missing back walls, that even stuff like mailboxes and oil drums were only modeled where the player would be able to see them when playing normally! MY DREAMS ARE CRUSHED! DAMN YOU WORLD! WHY MUST YOU DENY ME BEACH BABES AND SPUDS MCKENZIE!

You know something, I don't think Pepsi-man is a real super hero, nor do I think he has a lair full of gadgets.
