Nothing pisses me off more than watching a stuck up white hippie from California or some shit celebrate and wish for people in the south to suffer and die because of gerrymandering.Wait until they realize a majority of southern states are full of POC anyway. They love trying to act like it’s impossible for racist republicans to live up north because in their little bubble they think racism doesn’t exist past Texas. How they celebrated hurricane helene, the table rock fires, and now people saying Iran should bomb only the south. They act so “progressive”they start going backwards.Remember how people were saying if you couldn’t afford to up and leave your entire life behind during hurricane Helene you deserved to die?Knowing how impoverished the south is?No idea how they couldn’t see how classist that was.Even now I just saw a video of a white woman singing about fighting racism (don’t get me wrong fighting racism is good)and she’s literally only listing southern states as the issue, stereotyping and demonizing all of us as yt supremacist and calling us Nazis…..nothing wrong with hating racists but I can’t see why they’re blatantly ignoring that this does in fact happen in their states as well

Stop voting against your best interests. The south keeps voting for the wrong side. Dump the trump and you will be better off. anonymous 3 hours ago

^a majority of them do, look at Texas, within months after Uvalde, what do the people of Uvalde do? They voted back into office, that moron Abbott. They continue to vote against themselves. anonymous 2 hours ago
I grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania and I experienced the following:
1982 - My kindergarden class was racally segregated. Two class rooms, next to each other, but one entirely black, and the other almost entirely white. Yes, in the North in the 1980s. AFAIK this was done voluntarily.
A few years later, a bunch of white students ganged up outside of a school bus on a couple black kids who were inside the bus, shouted racial slurs, and both groups were throwing punches at each through the windows.
Throughout the 1990s especially after the Rodney King verdict, racial tensions were quite high at my suburban PA high school, and there were a few incidents.
Those are the ones I remember the most first hand. I heard that the rural parts of Pennsylvania were often very racist, and the same with upstate New York. And we had KKK and Neo-Nazis too.
Anyone who says that the north isn't racist is full of shit. anonymous 23 minutes ago
