My dad and fried balanga
It's not even that good. I grew up in a house that was stricter than most. My parents weren't professionals, both were white trash who were harder than the most strict parents.So much food was forbidden. Basic foods. Meat was a big thing that was rare as fuck in that house. Dad would love to brag about how good he got to eat and this and that to rub it in.
He went on once about fried balonga and how great it was. As an adult I finally had some and? It sucked. Plain cold balonga is 10000x better.
It's not even it not living up to the hype. Fried balonga just doesn't taste that good. You want "fried" balonga? Microwave a slice of regular and it'd taste the same.
