I miss him like crazy

havent texted my ex for 7 months. we started talking in the beginning of the year. it was such pure teenage love. we sat on the bus ride back of our field trip. texted all night. called all day. smiled at each other from across the room during class. went to homecoming together. he got me flowers. he never gave them to me. he didnt watch me during cheerleading during homecoming. started texting less. he didnt want to join facetimes. started talking less. we broke up. he said he didnt want to do this anymore. and now, 7 months later, i find out that hes talking to another girl. from a high school that i am very familiar with. found out through my "bestfriend" who showed me that he liked this girls post. she told me to my face knowing im not over him. i still get waves of sadness that remind me i dont have him anymore. he asked me out. we never went. i never got to run my fingers through his hair. i gave him a hug once. not even fully. i miss him like crazy. he appears in my dreams.
