I m so sick of the stereotypes

I'm so sick of the stereotypes NTs have about people with Asperger Syndrome, or ASD or whatever the frick they want us to call it now. I HATE the phrase "high-functioning autism" so I will not use it. NTs refuse to believe the fact that if you've seen one aspie, you've only seen one aspie. It's always "All aspies are white male neckbeards living in their mom's basement watching hentai and talking to 12 year old girls." or, "All aspies are emotionless robots they, have no empathy and will shoot up your school" or "All aspies have extremely unhealthy obsessions with furry fandom, Sonic the Hedgehog, anime, My Little Pony, and incel "culture". And "all aspies are horrible husbands" I'm an ADULT WOMAN and I was diagnosed with Asperger's in my late 20s in 2001. In a way I was lucky, there are many aspie women who didn't get diagnosed until they were much older or not at all. Before then, I knew virtually nothing about Asperger's and my idea of anyone autistic was a scared and confused little boy who spends all day rocking in a corner. So I was skeptical when I was diagnosed. But when I learned more about the common traits of girls and women with Asperger's, I knew it had t be true: Role playing with stuffed animals and dolls as a teen and even an adult because I had so much trouble socializing with people my age or just didn't want to. Preferring practical clothing and having an aversion to cosmetics and most other "fashionable" things all teen girls are supposed to be obsessed with. Having intense interests in things that got me bullied constantly in school. I dreamed of being cartoonist or even an animator, and cartoons were all I seemed to care about. Just before my diagnosis my whole life was falling apart. But I was able to turn my life around and I've been living in my own apartment for many years. But I'll never forgive the hell I was forced to go through, the way I was treated before my diagnosis, and the stereotypes that never die.
TL/DR As an adult female aspie, I'm very sick of sterotypes NTs have of people with Asperger's and they need to stop, but they never will.
