Child Care

This week has been the absolute worst week of my working life. Everyone always talks about the children of this generation lack discipline and respect which is true but nobody ever talks about the ridiculous teachers these places hire. They hire just about anyone.

There is a specific coworker at my job who has given everybody in this building nothing but hell. She's disrespectful, rude, and evil spirited. She talks about everybody. She criticizes and nitpicks everybody who doesn't do things her way but never takes accountability for her own short comings. She will literally cuss you out and yell at you over EVERYTHING like it's her job and we work at a fast food joint.

I'm not sure who died and made her supervisor of the building but she doesn't even have the criteria to be a lead teacher let alone a supervisor. She only got the position as a Lead Teacher this year because the original lead teacher of the classroom got a new job to get the hell away from her.

Today, this teacher and her teacher aid have been yelling non stop at the children all day. They were yelling at the kids over things that could of been a simple and calm please put this away or we are not riding bikes right now we are cleaning up. They even were yelling at the kids in front of a family who was enrolling their child. That family looked at me shocked that they were raising their voice at the kids.

Not even 5 minutes later the Godzilla of a teacher started a screaming match with another teacher right IN FRONT of a group of children from different classrooms all because a classroom who has way more kids then her were getting the extra FOOD. Mind you she only has 9 kids today and the other classroom has 19. She was screaming at the teacher saying it was unfair.

Many of the teacher were pissed off about it because it was ridiculous and hello there are children present. She's been here long enough to know how to f*cking act. I just don't understand how these people chose a job in childcare if it's causing you to lash out on kids who aren't YOURS. The fact that she's so comfortable with doing this to children who aren't hers just shows she needs to find a new profession because clearly this ain't for you. The teachers are planning on reporting the incident because it's just very unprofessional. This teacher always got into with other teachers all the time especially the lead teacher before her they fought almost everyday but she swears she's not the problem.
