Gay childrens commercials

Gay childrens commercials

There is this new lucky charms commercial that introduces the new unicorn marshmallow. it has this kid that is either transgender or gay or something because its voice sounds really girly and its actions are very gay/ feminine like but it looks like a boy in the face and it has short hair.... I am tired of people trying to make gay things everywhere. I am fine with gays I dont have a problem with them but I do have a problem with every commerical normalizing gays and having to include it to make it seem like that is the norm. Especially for a kids cereal commercial. Really?!?!? Kids don't know what that is and they shouldn't. I didn't know what gay was until I was maybe 11? They don't need to normalize it for childrens commercials. ALSO the nick channel has pride month commercials!! THAT IS NOT NORMAL FOR KIDS TO BE GAY THAT YOUNG THEY SHOULDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT IS!!!! people are normalizing it way too much these days and now every kid is going to end up gay because thats what the "normal culture" seems to be. That is innapropriate for a childrens tv channel to have gay commercials. end of story

true. I'm all for gay rights and gay marriage, but if only 0.0001% of people are trans why are they filling up the TV like they are all over the place. They are pushing them in everyone's face like they are all over the place when there are not really that many

Idk what the hell you watch but boi are you serious??? Kids just didnt know about what it means to be gay because people prefer to keep their kids in the dark and kids have nooo problem at that age knowing what it means for a girl and boy to like one another so why should any other types of love be a problem??? This post makes no sense.

what they guy means is that kids shouldn't even be thinking about love/having a bf or gf let alone what their sexuality is when they are 10 and younger . Its also true that the majority of people are heterosexual so tv does not have to normalize it to the extent that it's just stupidly pleases the minority.

Lmao. I SAW THAT COMMERCIAL! Funny as fuck. I as well could not tell what was happening. The "boy" looked like a boy but his clothes were really feminine and voicehigh pitch ( may be prepubescent) .

I guess the old Flintstones theme song ("we'll have a GAY old tiiiiime") was turning kids and adults into homosexuals back in the 1960s, right?

I bet the OP will now think the rainbow marshmallow is turning kids gay.

I saw that one too. The ambiguous gender showing up on tv is not new, but yeah, never so pink. I guess most people watching have no problem outright but something scary is when you go into virtue stuff like this you can't even run focus groups properly because the focus groups are shamed into lying or they're some kind of bigot or something. Media used to run so slowly (10-20 years behind) because people aren't usually afraid to admit they don't understand stuff, but here it would run so fast you'll accelerate television into bill nye sex education shows. If I was running a TV network we'd go by the golden rule that sex/religion/politics are always off limits unless you're a huge sitcom and you've earned the right to run an episode on that with intelligent and thoughtful writing.

Kids shows should not be expected to write well about those kind of themes. Using it in commercials is just disrespectful to everyone. I hope the blood of all the aggravated violence from this washes over all your shitty products you've sold by encouraging it.

I was lesbian as a kid.
I didn't know what lesbian meant.
I just knew I liked girls lol.

a kid that sounds feminine doesn't have anything to do with being gay?? i'm gonna assume it's a little too, so that's probably why he sounds feminine

It's how it dresses and the haircut. The kid is something like 8. They know what they're doing. They know what the unicorn means in 2018.

His voice is high because he’s a child you idiots. And being gay IS normal, so it’s ok to normalize it, especially when there’s a rainbow unicorn involved.

All I know is that back in the 99s, a woman was wearing a bowler hat, her blouse collar buttoned, and a bowtie tucked under the folding part of the collar. She made raunchy jokes that were so blue languaged that the FCC almost pulled the TV show off the air even though it was on Pay Per View cable.

Then she ended he show with "It's magically delicious!"

Now I don't know how this relates to the OP's rant, but a very smart scientist could very well find a way.
