Don't know, don't care

My niece and her family live half a nation away. I've never been there, but my sister, her mom, and others have. My rant is..Please, don't tell me where you're going there, with the kid or whoever, like I know what you're talking about. I don't know, or care. What restaurant, food store, place with cheap smokes, the park the kid likes, etc. Stop going on and on about places I've never been to, and likely will not be. I never hear from niece unless something is wrong, like a hospital stay, and her husband, forget it..Wordless. I don't need to face time with the kid, who I might see once per year when they visit. It's a forced relationship.

I don't do it with them, talk about a sports bar I have lunch at on Saturdays, my friend Leah, who they never met, or much else I don't think know or care about. I don't care about the big mini-mart you're going to. There's about 9 in my immediate area.
