Don't date an unmotivated person

Motivated is not the shallow fantasy shit of traveling while wearing suits and dresses and pretending to have money. Motivated is, money or not, just doing shit and/or working towards something to make your life better. Could be anything. Doesn't even have to cost anything.

It could be walking. Eating a nice meal. Watching a show you've wanted to see. Trying build towards a better job or save for a vacation.

So many people date and don't do shit. Another person is not going to give you a personality.

I was in a five year relationship with someone with no motivation. You make the excuses for them at first, but eventually you get pissed off at having to be the adult in the relationship and the only one pulling the weight.

ANY PERSON OF INTEREST SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING GOING FOR THEM, OR A PLAN THAT THEY ARE TAKING PART IN, TO BETTER THEMSELVES. Fucking anything. Doesn't have to be "I'm gonna lose 50 pounds" but should be more than meandering around and watching Gilmore Girls.
