The cartels may be somewhat smart. Naturally, I'd just wait it out for 4 years, still doing my drug smuggling, then when he's gone, act like it was Biden in office if a president that doesn't hold the same views as Trump but as Biden gets elected. I'm just amazed at how this is the country where it's like every 4 years it goes through what one would call a Dissociative Identity Personality Disorder or something to that effect. Astounding to say the least.

The so called leaders of these cartel ridden countries should take this as an opportunity to finally do something about the cartels. The ones that are serious at least and not on the cartel payroll themselves. The cartels control large sections of these countries where the law officials too are scared to venture into. And lately the cartels are openly operating in tourist locals like Acapulco where there used to be some kind of tacit understanding to pretend that tourists were safe from getting caught up in cartel violence. So now Trump is giving these leaders notice they had better do something about the cartels. Why not work with him and have access to the latest tech & military assets to defeat a common enemy and stop having groups grandmas earning honorary archeological degrees searching for and excavating cartel mass grave sites looking for their loved ones gone missing after opposing or crossing the cartel,
