i want it gone. its the worst thing out of all websites honestly you cannot watch and enjoy shorts without feeling the brainrot. youtube has clickbait but at least some thought has to go into it, i find i can generally enjoy longer videos or videos around 30 minutes at the very least but youtube shorts and tiktok give me a headache.

Deal? What deal? What tiktok got for their quid pro quo return of getting Trump re-elected was a stay of termination. And if some US "approved" person/entity buys it to keep it from going away, what they will have purchased is the name only; the algorithm is tiktok and they won't be buying that. Like what happens to many well know brands eventually when they are sold and purchased by venture capitalist types looking to cash in on the name recognition only while the essence of what made the brand so popular and unique, the founder/creator is lost.
