Why does she keep denying it??

my house has thin wall thin enough if i turn my backround video off sometimes i can hear them talking from my room while there in there room I'm CONVINCED my mom can to but she KEEPS DENYING IT and its soooo annoying i recently did a online orientation not saying where but i come out of my room and i tell her it went well and the other stuff she needs to know and i ask if she's ABSOLUTELY SURE she couldn't hear me and she said "well i could hear some muffled voices but other then that no!" So.. yes? Today i go out to tell her i don't feel well and something about bed and she goes "well how long were you up?" I asked why is mattered and she preceded to say she could HEAR MY LAUGHTER FROM MY ROOM i wasn't even laughing that loud i know this is "such a non problem" but it bugs the hell outta me that she won't just admit she can hear me! I hate that my privacy might be being invaded and she refuses to tell me if she can hear me
