Trump Should Ban Ukraine Crops

The Trump administration should put a ban on all crops coming out of Ukraine being sold in the US because they still have elevated levels of radiation from Chernobyl. According one independent study of grain samples taken from 2011 to 2019, the Strontium-90 in 45% of the samples was above the official safe limits set by the Ministry of Health Ukraine w/ no evidence of a declining trend over this time.

(FYI: Ukraine claimed cost prohibitive and stopped bothering to monitor themselves for cancer causing Strontium-90 in their goods sold in 2013.)

Ukrainian sourced apples are often listed as being in some brands of apple products like juice and sauce sold here in the US. Apple juice and sauce are also used in many other products to improve taste and texture where the origin can not be detected to avoid the Ukrainian products. They can off load their cheap radioactive food to other countries desperate enough to take it. The US does not need or want it.
