Trump Great Gatsby Gambit

Good news: A D.C. jury found the guy who tossed his Subway sandwich at an agent with US Customs & Border Patrol not guilty on the charge which had to be dropped from a felony assault to a misdemeanor because a grand jury, which are notoriously famous for indicting a ham sandwich, refused to indict on the higher charge of felony assault.

Bad news: With food cost rising, SNAP benefits not getting paid, and people getting zero dollar paychecks to by food with, if the guy tossed another Subway sandwich at a CBP agent it may get intercepted before it hits them by a person looking for some food to feed their family. Hell, the CBP might take it as a gift because they aren't getting paid either while Trump's holding a 1920's Great Gatsby party down at Mar-A-Largo.

It's very telling that was the theme of the party because that's where Trump & uber rich patrons who generously donate to his self enriching graft schemes want the country to go back to, a Industrial Paternalist System where they get to determine how much a worker should be get, the needy in society were left to starve, and the sick were left to die until the 1930's social reform programs started out of the Great Depression with unionizing workers, welfare for the needy, health care for the sick -- the time the Middle Class was born. And every since its inception the uber rich have been doing their best to crush the Middle Class. In Trump they've found their champion.
