THIS PLACE WOULD CRUMBLE

I have been in my current jobs for around 9 months now. I got promoted to management within my first month of being there, being the only member of the team with any previous management experience. I don't think the bosses there know actually how much I do. "Who did those line checks? Who put that delivery away? Who sorted out this email complaint?" ME!! I DID IT!! But on no, if I try and claim any credit, everyone just takes the piss.

The entire staff (Sadly now MY staff) are so petty, with everything they do. We had our second chef stealing food (literally hundreds of £s worth) and so, being a good manager, I called him out on it. Asked him if there was anything going on at home, maybe he couldn't afford to feed himself or his fiancé. His response, was that he just didn't want to pay for. I literally moved on with it, not giving him a disciplinary or anything, just told him to fucking stop it and he then starts spreading a rumour about me, saying I just want to watch him and his fiancé starve! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! Motherfucker, if you cannot afford food on the wage you are paid, TELL ME! I ASKED! LET ME HELP OUT! If he's just stealing food for the sake of it, it's just cost him his job.

I managed to scrape together enough annual leave to go and see my partner for a week or so, but I've planted my little spies. Keeping an eye on him and making sure the stock checks account for EVERY BIT OF FOOD THAT GOES IN AND OUT OF THAT KITCHEN. If I come back from this holiday, his job is going bye bye and he's going to have to go somewhere else.

I know it sounds like I'm being a bit harsh, but I have tried my absolute best with the most troublesome staff, giving them more warnings than pints they pour in a day. I'm at my wits end with the lot of them and if they keep on fucking up the way they do, I might just have to go on a recruitment drive to find a whole new team. These fuckers are now on thin, THIN, ice.
