They just want you for your health insurance
If you have health insurance, look out when dating people who don't. There are seriously people out there who are looking to get married not because they want to spend the rest of their life with someone or have any intention of a meaningful connection, but simply because health insurance is made far too difficult to get. In a way you can't even blame them because health insurance is basic to survival and quality of life. But you don't want to end up connected to somebody legally for life just because they were desperate to stay on their meds. There's no easy formula for figuring out what's actually going on and whether or not somebody actually wants to be with you or just figures you can get them affordable health coverage, but I can and will say to be watchful.anonymous Relationships November 14, 2025 at 2:14 pm 0 0
