Terrified even though I am brave

Near my home, there are political protests and police presence. I do my best to stay away. I am even willing to take a detour or get on a city transit bus that will pass through the political protests safely. This has been going on for a long time. Sometimes the protests are very intense. Both sides protest at the same place. When I see them, I run far away and I do not want my picture taken and circulating online. I have no dog in the fight. I just want peace and the protests to end. I do not want to be an innocent bystander caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is part of the price of living in one of the world's biggest cities.

And Trump will make sure things will get uglier. Trump literally has a God complex and he is going to ride that to the end no matter what kind of long term damage it does.

I would seriously make a bug out plan just in case worst comes to worst. Hopefully you will never have to use it, but your saftey and the saftey of your family comes before 'loyalty' to any others and the time to prepare is now. And pay no attention to the numbnuts who say "You hate America!". Those people are drunk on the kool-aid and no longer in touch with reality. You can 'love' your country but that does not mean you should go down with it.
