If you try to falsely control someone by telling them they will go to hell for not doing what you want, you're stepping towards hell a lot faster than your victim could possibly be.

My understanding is that your god is so desperate for your attention you can do literally anything and it won’t matter.
I’ve also almost died enough times to tell people l’ll wait for them in Hell. IDC NGL anonymous 11 hours ago

Manifest Destiny was just Europeans stealing a ton of land and killing a ton of people. God didn't see a problem with all that. My great grandparents wrote home while being legal captives in CATHOLIC boarding schools, and yet Catholics love to pretend they feel a sense of "guilt" over normal shit they refer to as "catholic guilt." Clearly don't feel guilty about the shit they actually should though.
I mean, ideally you wouldn't condemn people to hell, BUT in my culture we've got other things we emphasize such as trying to connect with our ancestors through cultural practices and learning our language. Characteristics such as being brave and honest and showing an appreciation for all things too. Ultimately, if it's right you'll be either chained to grief, incapable of completing the journey the Creator has sat aside for you, or you'll end up meeting your family. From my band's/nation's tribal center, not AI BTW.
I'd rather not deal with a Wendigo ngl. I've read most of The Inferno and I'll take what Dante takes on over those alone. Then you got the angry shaman who refuse to die, agents of chaos like Lox, deceptive little forest people, and so on.
It'd be cool if it was simple as visiting a physical place once a week and declaring your love for something that may or may not exist like Michael Scott declared bankruptcy. If it is though then, yeah, telling people they're going to hell won't do shit either way. anonymous 2 hours ago
