These racist women said to me: "Only white people ski and hike". They are surprised that I fish, hike and canoe. I grew up here too. I just look different. Hobbies are not exclusive to race. Skiing is an expensive sport. I know another Indian woman who skis. You remind me of the school bus driver who would never stop for me because I was brown.

Never waste time trying to convince. Just do the activities you love. Becoming really good at . them is useful Connect to other brown people who also ski, hike and canoe. I bet they exist on fb. I've seen many latin groups around those activities on fb.
