Shitty local places

Every town, no matter how big or small, ghetto or not. Seems to have a pizza place that isn't very good, and a burger place that's descent because it's actually fresh off the grill unlike McDonalds.

The pizza places are expensive as fuck and use the cheapest ingrediants. Like $30 for a large, made with Walmart brand shit. They use ground beef instead of chunks, so you end up with greasy bits that get everywhere but in your mouth. They put the fucking pepperoni on top of the sauce and UNDER everything. else. You bit into a slice, you get all of the cheese and everything attached to the pepperoni sliding off. You desperately try to bit it off to no avail, now the cheese has come off the slice, so you have to eat all of that at once. Now you're left with sauce and dough for the remainder of your slice. And it's like this with every piece. Yum.

And I'm sick of the "artsy" "not like the other place" hipster shit businesses. Around me, like one block away from the slums are these kind of restuarants like what I'm describing. The decor is bland, with random bright colors, a few basic bitch pop culture/art prints hanging up, and then Led Zeppelin or Beatles greatests hits plays like OMG THEYRE PLAYING GOOD MUSIC. The places like this basically all pretend to have this distinct personality, while in reality having none of their own at all. You can't tell me any of it is genuine, and that's why I hate it.

It's not like someone actually has a passion for any of it. It's just going along with the current trends. I would actually root for the places if they were run by someone who cared and actually put effort into the food, and genuinely liked the art/music and wasn't just being some hipster asshole. Stairway to Heaven is not obsecure, neither is ANY fucking song from Nirvana's Nevermind even songs like Breed, dont act superior for this shit.

And I don't like the way staff treat people. Whenever i go into these places I feel like I'm looked at like I'm trash by at least one person. And I'm not some fucking meth junkie. Yet I usually get dismissive service, and people tend to make me wait 20 minutes for my check. Fuck them.
