My regret is not that I learned the truth and hated that truth. My regret is that I didn't teach myself the awful truth about how much my own kind will prefer THEM to me earlier! Maybe I would have been to young to handle that power well. But I wish I could do it all over and get there sooner. There is so much I would have gained in getting used to the facts earlier.
