raisedbyautistics is the perfect example of an ableist dogwhistle. they find every single way possible to say "I hate autism" without saying "I hate autism" by the word.

armchair diagnosing one's own parents as autistic

assigning qualities to autism not found in the official DSM criteria for the condition

slandering neurodiversity as a supremacist movement, similarly to how BLM and other civil rights movements get accused of extremism under very flimsy premises

immediately reporting, blocking, and insulting critics of the sub

repeatedly claiming they're not ableist (which can sometimes be a red flag on its own. not inherently so but if the common rhetoric on a sub is so inflammatory you have to clarify every 10 seconds its not meant to be insulting, maybe you should ask yourself why)

may this cesspit be banned, its legacy be remembered as a hate group, and its members damned to hell. Heck, may all autistics be shunned!
