So, recently daniel ortega, nicaragua's president, has cancelled elections. This prompted many reactionaries to scream about left-wing authoritarianism. However, while ortega WAS a leftist before, he explicilty renounced this position since his second presidency. So he's a terrible example to use compared to actually problematic socialists like the USSR. Really shows these idiots aren't arguing in good faith. They don't want freedom, just tyranny that isn't communism.
