Public humiliation in front of peers

I had to do a presentation in front of a bunch of profs and peers. People before me barely got any criticism, but after mine a prof spoke up and basically told me in front of everybody that there is a fundamental error in my work and I have to redo all of it. Then they told me to go talk to my mentor who wasn't there. Great, I exit, a teacher comes after me and tries to console me but that just makes me cry lol. Then the main prof also comes after me and both console me and they tell me they wouldn't change it but I should talk to my mentor. I go to my mentor, immediately start crying again lol. I tell him what happened. He says the prof who criticised me is a talentless loser who hates him and that's why he said what he said. That he is wrong and I don't have to change anything about my work. I guess that was validating but I was still humiliated in front of people who WILL TALK. I wanna change schools lol
