Poor Customer Service At Auto Store

Slacker auto store worker is too fucking lazy to go through procedures to update information in the store system. I go in the store to by an item and at checkout I have to give my phone number for warranty. So I give my number & the guy asks if my name is "x" and I tell him no my name is "y". Then the guy says that number is in our system already under "x's" name, am I a relation. I tell him, no I don't know this person, but did used to get calls for him after I got the number for a couple of years after I got it, & I've had the number for 10 years now. Then he says he'll add my name to this guys info because he can't delete this guy from the system. So I tell this fool how long I've had the number again,10 years, and that I want my own listing in the system free and clear of this guy I don't know that he wants to put all my info onto his entry in the system like credit card info & what ever else gets captured if I should shop there again. I stress the time I've had the number, 10 years, so this guy has not been using it for that long so any problems are on him to fix should he shop there again, take him off. The dumbass says he's been working there 13yrs and never seen the guy. I had to wait a beat to remain civil after that ridiculous statement: 1. it backs up everything I've been saying about taking the guy off of this combined listing the guy did of him and me because he's likely using a new number & 2. there is no way this fool has seen every single customer that's come into the place for 13 yrs. FFS the PO only forwards your 1st class mail only 12mos then it's your problem of straightening out issues from a wrong address after you've moved. So I did not want to waste more time talking to this guy so I paid and left, not at all happy about that store experience, and that of course carries over to the product purchased, so I go home and buy one online for the same price with more features and better reviews. I'll be bringing the other one back to the auto store, but another branch of it in the city next to the small ass bufu town I live in so I can get my account separated from this other person, even though I will not be shopping at that auto store again.
