My parents are fighting what do I do?

My mom and step dad are fighting more and more often and my step dad literally told my mom “time for a diet” when my mom said she might be a pre-diabetic like that’s super rude and my step dad will constantly say “are you gonna be alright tonight” when she says something even slightly rude/angry especially if she’s upset about something or ranting
