My dads friend

Fuck you for ignoring me at that funeral you attended. Couldn't possibly be a projection, because your kids hate you, just like how I hate my dad. That's the only thing I can think of for why you'd ignore me. My dad telling you some one sided sob story, one like what I'm sure you tell people, of how ohhhh you just don't know why your adult kids want nothing to do with you. You were a good father. Never did this. Always did that. You just don't know why they don't come around or answer my texts.

Reality being both my father and his friend were horrible parents. For a kid to seriously hate their parent(s) and want nothing to do with them, that is not a light or easy decision. You basically just get hurt and disappointed so many times that you can't deny the truth any more and eventually distance yourself. It's not "I hate you for not taking us to Disney World this summer" like what a retard might think.
