No, it's not you who is resembling and 8 year old child. It is your grown ass partner who still has not put away the childish things and become an adult that lives in the real world instead of make believe video games. You need to find yourself a more mature individual and drop this person.

Usually he’s amazing to me. It’s just when he gets caught up in video games (which admittedly is very rare - like once a month) that he can get this way. I remember him yelling at me on my birthday a few years ago because I wanted attention while he was playing a different game.
