I'm going to a gathering of nations this summer. Our governments have lasted longer than a lot of Europoor nations. The newest iterations of our government, such as my tribe only formed around when Columbus discovered America. By that I mean my tribe was part of a much more connected nation, and around the 1400s we broke off and formed three "tribes" or "fires".
I'm related to all three and some damn royalty too. From what Gemini is saying you need a tribal ID to get in, and even if you don't you don't get cool shit without one. Fucking Europoors always giving Americans shit for being "so new." If those Americans knew shit about their country they'd know we and our governments are older than most people realize. The Iroquois Nation is the longest living representative democracy and it's almost 1,000 years old.
And NGL, I'm a little nervous. I haven't been studying what should be my native language anywhere near as much as Emma Watson has. Moreover, there are a few differences between how my tribe expects me to behave and what is acceptable between Europeans and Americans. She has a "hilarious" story where she couldn't quite stop calling a band-aid a "plaster". IDK how you spend all that time studying English and struggle with dialects. OTOH, according to my band/nation it's rude to use nothern potawatomi if someone speaks southern potawatomi. Yes, they're very similar and the only real difference is mostly just phonetics. It's still considered disrespectful because of how we are. We're a giant family like that.
Another fun fact it's why we don't say "good bye" either. We say "see you later." I know how to introduce myself, say "see ya later", and a few other things. I really need to brush up on it between now and then to be respectful. You Europoors got shit easy.
Assuming I don't kill myself though it'll be cool going to a new state, driving over Mackinac bridge for the first time ever, and seeing the UP. Gonna be a hell of a trip. All the cool regalia, dancing, and probably even buffalo burgers and native tacos. Been meaning to try a buffalo burger and definitely gotta if I get the chance in honor of Custer and European egos. Nowadays what they did to Buffalos after Custer got merked by Crazy Horse would be a war crime. Europoors still pretend it was some straight up genocide. Even try to joke about it on Reddit. Fuck them. Fuck that "global platform" that jokes about endangering species because they can't win a war straight up with "better tech" and way more soldiers.

Oh and the Great Law of Peace that established the Iroquois Confederacy ended a war between several nations. All of those nations are older than 1,000 years old. Lol europoors. anonymous 2 hours ago
