It's Decenber 24, and you step into the elevator. It malfunctions and goes up just past the top floor, enough that there is nothing but a concrete wall when you force open the doors. The roof escape harch is also blocked. The phone don't work, the alarm don't work, and you forgot to charge your cellphone. The security guard does not come anywhere close to where you are at to hear your screams for help, amd the building does not reopen until after January 1st.
