I hate how my friend talks about my boyfriend

I absolutely hate the way my friend talks about my boyfriend. She calls him ugly and says he looks homeless and stuff like that. He is a beautiful person inside and out. I find him incredibly attractive. He dresses well, takes care of himself, has a cool demeanor, shiny hair, pretty eyes, and really puts a lot of effort into how he presents himself. On top of that, he is kind, patient, and a wonderful person. HE WOULD EVEN DRIVE ME AND HER AROUND AND OFFER TO PAY FOR OUR DINNERS despite how unfriendly she was to him. Oh but he has a beard so he looks homeless (sarcasm). Just because he’s not your type doesn’t give you the right to call him names. And I happen to like his beard. I don’t even know what to say to her because it throws me so off guard and it’s so random and I didn’t realize how much it bothered me until we ended our phone call. This stuff hurts me because he is such an important person in my life and she’s putting down my preferences and my choices. Usually I just say to her, “Nooo I like how he looks.” I want to say more but I don’t even know how to go about it. She’s very abrasive and argumentative, and I’m quite sensitive and timid. Sooo not a good mix. I’ve tried keeping my distance but she called me a bad friend for never calling. Ugh.
