I hate driving

I hate driving.
I hate the feeling of it. The feeling of my life being in not only my own hands, but the hands of the people around me. And those people, not all of course, drive like absolute fucking brainlets.
Speeding even though the roads are shit is just a crazy concept to me (winter tires or not, slush is slippery). TAILGATING when the roads are slick is genuinely asking for an accident and fuck you if you do that. Fix that habit, you probably have gotten into an accident before and you'll likely get into another one. You never know when the person in front of you has to brake and if you're going 60+ mph you CANNOT react in time.
Overall, I think people need more fear when driving. They get overconfident and then text, speed, tailgate, stop using blinkers (ON THE FUCKING HIGHWAY?????? FFFFFFUCK YOU), ect.
If only public transportation had more funding so it could be more functional and safer (then people can text safely). People complain buses are gross and dangerous and it's like.... Well they get bare minimum funding, no shit they're kinda dirty. As for dangerous, cars can be dangerous too (bc people can stop their car in front of you, jump out, and cause havoc). I guess bus stops can be sketchy. But if more funding was acquired and they fixed up the public transport system, more people would use it, then bus stops would be less sketchy bc more normal folk would be there waiting.
