Speaking from experience I never ask men or women. Its not because I am not interested its because I am exhausted I work 4 jobs and I am tired of men and women snapping at me... so I can completely relate to someone not asking and I have no friends, no girlfriend, no kids no wife, probably no chance that will change but that is how it is. If you want someone to talk to you I suggest be approachable, be nice make effort to talk to them. otherwise people like me won't, the people who will you probably don't want to talk to because they are probably cooked.
