A lot of people assume that I am insecure and depressed simply because I'm a young woman that dresses modestly that doesn't talk much. Truly, genuinely modestly and plain (not just no skin showing). I get told that I'm sad for choosing not to beautify myself in public. What's actually sad is people's pathetic, worthless value systems that run on external validation. I'm sorry that you are so unconfident that you need others to find you appealing to be happy and feel worth. How very shallow, how vain are you to automatically assume a girl protecting her beauty is unhappy. I have no desire to look appealing to random people. Only person that deserves to see my maximum beauty is my lover. I'm pretty- I know it- and I don't need to flaunt it or accentuate it in public.
