My short term and long term goals were simple" Go to college, obtain a job, move out of my parents place, get into a romantic relationship, build towards my boyfriend and I financial future, open a small business, get married, start a family, travel across country. THAT was my actual goal. Did it happen? I am 36 and no. it did not happen. What has actually happened? We as a community are talking about who did the molestation, who did the rape, and who really sabotaged in the workplace. and its getting nowhere and so people have opted to just be quiet.
